Pind Daan is a Hindu ancestral ritual performed to give moksha (liberation) to deceased parents and ancestors. It is most powerful when performed at Gaya. Anyone who has lost a parent or grandparent can perform this ritual. Our pujari guides you through the complete vidhi.
Is Varanasi safe to walk at night? +
The main ghats and old city lanes are safe and full of pilgrims and tourists at night. We recommend walking in groups. Our guide accompanies all evening walks. Keep valuables secure and be aware of your surroundings.
Can non-Hindus visit Kashi Vishwanath? +
The Kashi Vishwanath Temple new corridor is open to all visitors for the outer complex. The main sanctum darshan requires Hindu identity proof. Sarnath and other Buddhist/general sites are open to everyone.
