Rishikesh → Sonprayag → Gaurikund
Drive via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Guptkashi to Sonprayag (200 km, ~7 hours). Evening at Gaurikund. Biometric registration. Night stay at Gaurikund.

Madhyamaheshwar was my personal favourite — the most peaceful place I have ever been. The bugyals, the views of Chaukhamba, the lack of crowds... just perfect. The team was very well prepared and handled a small medical issue on Day 7 very calmly. Minus one star only because the Day 6 guesthouse was basic, but that's the mountains — it was fine!
